Brugse Zot

Brugse Zot is much more than a Belgian beer: it is a joyful tribute to the history and character of Bruges. Born in De Halve Maan brewery, which has been brewing beer for six generations, this unique recipe combines family tradition with a humorous wink to the nickname Maximilian of Austria gave to the Brujians in the 15th century: “Close the gates of Bruges and you will have an asylum!”

Since its launch in 2005, Brugse Zot has conquered palates in more than 40 countries with its accessible style and playful spirit. With versions like blonde, double, autumn bock or alcoholless Sportzot, this beer proves that being a little crazy can be delicious.
