Augustijn

Behind each bottle of Augustijn there are more than 200 years of history, but also a philosophy that goes beyond tradition. Since 1784, the brewery Van Steenberge has opted for innovation, character and living fermentation, transmitted over six generations of master brewers. This is not a brand anchored in the past. Its legacy is defined by the courage to try, improve and continue learning without losing its essence. They produce high fermentation beers with their own yeasts and a meticulous process of natural ripening, culminating in a second fermentation in bottle or barrel. The result: live beers, with body, nuances and a constant evolution that improves with time. Augustijn is one of its most emblematic jewels: intense, elegant and with that flavor that grows and surprises with each drink. Its monastic origin, its aromatic richness and its aging character make it one of the most valued beers by lovers of the classic Belgian style. In Beer Republic we select the beer because it represents the best of the brewery in Europe: respect for the history, but with its look in the future.
