Budweiser

Budweiser's story begins in 1861 when Adolphus Busch, a German immigrant, married the daughter of Eberhard Anheuser, a renowned brewer from St. Louis, USA. In 1876, inspired by Bohemia's pale and soft beers, Budweiser, a blonde lager, was launched and soon became the world's best-selling beer.

This name, of German origin, has been one of the longest commercial disputes, due to its coincidence with Czech brewery Budejovický, also known as Budweiser in its language.

Budweiser is currently part of the multinational AB InBev and is the leading industrial beer in global sales, reaching its peak with factories in every state of the United States. Its balanced and fresh flavor, produced by a 21-day maturation in wood chips, keeps alive the tradition that began more than 140 years ago.
