Strong Ale

This traditional English beer style fell out of favor in the mid-20th century, with its recipes being revived years later thanks to CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), the association of traditional English beer fans that campaigned in the 1960s and 70s to bring back these disused beer styles.

It is characterized by typical reddish colors and an explosive combination of flavors, starting off rather sweet due to the amount of malt it contains, and ending with a bitter finish. In addition, they stand out for having a higher alcohol volume than any other British style.
