Kinnegar is an independent brewery born in Donegal, Ireland, which combines tradition, technique and a clear vocation for quality. Its factory usually works with a 35HL team, complemented by its original 10HL brewhouse, allowing them to maintain a stable production while developing new recipes and exploring fresh ideas within the craft world.
Its beers ferment and ripen in unitanks using the traditional spunding method, where yeast carbonates beer naturally during fermentation. Faithful to its artisanal approach, Kinnegar does not filter or pasteurize its beers, preserving all its character and expression.
In addition, with their Phunk Farm project, located in its former headquarters in Rathmullan, they experiment with mixed and spontaneous fermentations inspired by the traditional farmhouse ales, extending the limits of their brewery proposal without losing the essence that defines the brand.
