Character, Flavor, and Aromas:
Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel presents a malty and deep profile, with a base of roasted cocoa, intense caramel, and nuts like walnut and hazelnut. On the palate, it feels smooth, silky, and enveloping, with a balanced finish thanks to a delicate bitterness that offsets its initial sweetness.
A robust, warming beer with nuances that invite you to savor it slowly.
Culinary Pairings:
Ideal for accompanying meat stews, braised dishes, roasted pork knuckle, cured or smoked cheeses. It also pairs perfectly with desserts such as chocolate cake, apple strudel, or walnut brownie. A beer to enjoy after meals, on autumnal evenings, or during moments of contemplation.
Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel is not just a beer; it is a sensory experience that pays homage to centuries of monastic brewing tradition.
