Descripción
Samichlaus is a legendary Austrian beer, recognized as the strongest bottom-fermented beer in the world, with an impressive 14% alcohol content. This unique specialty is brewed every December 6th and undergoes a fermentation and maturation process that sets it apart: after an initial fermentation, it is subjected to a year of "lagering" (maturation at low temperatures), followed by a second fermentation in the bottle that can extend for years. This brewing jewel, with its intense reddish color and complex flavors, is more reminiscent of a brandy than a traditional beer, ideal for enjoying as a dessert liqueur.
