Technical Data Sheet
Description
Basqueland Marciano is a 10% ABV Triple IPA created as a tribute to legendary boxer Rocky Marciano and designed to offer an authentic hop explosion. Its base of Lager malt, wheat, oats, chit, and oat flakes provides a powerful yet surprisingly smooth and silky body. Mosaic, Citra, Mosaic Cryo, and Citra Cryo hops, along with additions of Ekuanot and Krush in the whirlpool, build a profile of enormous intensity, loaded with fruit and dank notes. Ripe mango, canned peaches, and gummy bears appear alongside a powerful resinous and hoppy expression. A bold, complex, and dangerously drinkable Triple IPA for its high alcohol content.

Character, Flavor, Aromas:
Marciano presents enormous flavor and hop intensity, with a surprisingly smooth and silky texture thanks to the combination of wheat and oats. On the nose and palate, notes of ripe mango, canned peaches, and gummy bears stand out, accompanied by a marked dank and resinous dimension. The Cryo hops enhance the aromatic intensity and provide a deep and persistent hoppy expression. Despite its 10% alcohol, the result is dangerously easy to drink, hiding an authentic hop punch behind its fruity character.
Food Pairing:
Due to its power, body, and marked hoppy character, it is a great companion for grilled meats, hearty burgers, BBQ ribs, spicy dishes, Mexican cuisine, and aged cheeses. The sweet notes of ripe fruit work especially well with caramelized meats and intense sauces, while the bitterness helps to balance fatty preparations and bold flavors.
10% alcohol, a brutal load of hops, and all the punch of a Triple IPA. Marciano doesn't need much of an introduction: it enters the ring with its guard up and hits from the very first sip.
