Description

Basqueland Olatu Txuria 33cl is an artisanal Witbier brewed by Basqueland Brewing in Hernani (Gipuzkoa). With 4.9% alcohol, it stands out for its fresh, light, and aromatic profile, inspired by the Belgian tradition of white wheat beers. Brewed with lemon zest and coriander seeds, it offers a combination of citrus and spiced notes over a smooth wheat base that makes you want to keep drinking.

It is an ideal beer for those looking for an alternative with more personality than a conventional lager, but without the bitterness of an IPA. Refreshing, balanced, and very food-friendly, Basqueland Olatu Txuria is an excellent choice both for getting started with craft beer and for enjoying a modern, nuanced Witbier.

Character, Flavor, Aromas

Basqueland Olatu Txuria presents an attractive pale yellow color with the characteristic cloudiness of Witbiers and a white, creamy, and persistent foam. The nose is dominated by aromas of wheat, fresh cereal, lemon zest, and delicate notes of coriander, accompanied by a light floral background.

On the palate, it is smooth, light, and very refreshing. The wheat provides a silky texture, while the lemon provides a pleasant citrus sensation that integrates perfectly with the spicy character of the coriander. The finish is clean, dry, and balanced, with a smooth persistence that invites another sip.

Food Pairing

Its fresh and citrus profile makes Basqueland Olatu Txuria an excellent companion for seafood and fish, especially steamed mussels with lemon, shrimp, or ceviches. It also pairs perfectly with fresh salads, burrata with tomato and basil, yogurt and lemon marinated chicken, Mediterranean cuisine, Asian-inspired dishes, and soft-ripened cheeses. Its balance of wheat, citrus, and spices cleanses the palate elegantly and enhances flavors without overpowering them.

A fresh, aromatic, and surprisingly easy-drinking Witbier. Perfect for any moment when you crave flavor, freshness, and authenticity.
