Technical Data Sheet
Description
Basqueland Omako Basoa is a monumental Imperial Pastry Stout, a true liquid gem created in collaboration with Finback Brewery (New York) to commemorate Basqueland's 10th anniversary. Conceived as a dessert in a glass, it combines the intensity of pure cocoa, the smoothness of vanilla, and the depth of artisanal coffee, resulting in a rich, complex, and absolutely addictive sensory experience. Its recipe integrates nine carefully selected malt types—including Maris Otter, Crystal, and Chocolate—which provide a dense, toasted, and voluptuous body. The result is a dark, intense, and silky beer that behaves like melted chocolate on the palate.

Character, Flavor, Aromas:
Omako Basoa displays a deep and sophisticated aromatic profile. On the nose, notes of Ethiopian espresso, bitter cocoa, three-origin vanilla, and toasted caramel are perceived. On the palate, it opens like a liquid praline, combining sweetness, toastiness, and a liquor-like touch that leaves a warm and persistent sensation. The finish is elegant, creamy, and slightly sweet, with echoes of dark chocolate and coffee. The texture is velvety and silky, with a full and warm body, where the alcohol is elegantly integrated.
Culinary Pairing:
Ideal for accompanying chocolate desserts, brownies, tiramisu, or vanilla ice cream. It also pairs perfectly with blue cheeses, foie gras, or roasted meats for contrast. For the more adventurous, it combines sublimely with a cigar or a square of 80% dark chocolate.
A powerful, complex, and elegant artisan Imperial Pastry Stout. A true tribute to liquid confectionery that seduces with its warmth, sweetness, and depth. Perfect for ending a meal, sharing, or simply enjoying unhurriedly.
