Description

The Dougall’s 11/20 Terpenos NEIPA 44cl is a special edition craft beer from the Dougall’s 20th anniversary commemorative series. An experimental NEIPA that elevates aromatic intensity to a new level through the use of terpenes, designed to amplify hop expression and enhance the sensory experience in every sip.

This NEIPA stands out for its extremely immersive profile, where layers of tropical fruit, ripe citrus, and stone fruits unfold with great intensity. The result is a juicy, creamy, and deeply aromatic beer, crafted for those seeking a more intense, complex, and persistent hoppy experience.

Characteristics:

Style: NEIPA (New England IPA) with terpenes.

Alcohol Content: 6.4% ABV.

Hops: Krush Lupocore, Cryo Motueka, and Cryo Idaho 7.

Serving Temperature: We recommend serving between 6 and 8 ºC to enhance its aromatic character and creamy texture.

Color (EBC): Between 10 and 16 EBC, with the hazy golden hue typical of the NEIPA style.

Bitterness (IBU): Approximately 35 IBU, with a smooth, integrated bitterness that is very well-balanced with the fruit load.

Character, Flavor, Aromas:

On the nose, it displays outstanding aromatic intensity with layers of pineapple, mango, peach, and ripe citrus, accompanied by nuances of stone fruits and a deeply immersive sweet background. The “Gelato” profile terpenes reinforce the fruity sensation and add depth, making the aroma more persistent and expansive. On the palate, it is creamy, round, and very juicy, with high fruit saturation and a smooth finish that maintains balance despite its intensity. The finish is long, aromatic, and with a lingering aftertaste rich in nuances.

Food Pairing:

The Dougall’s 11/20 Terpenos NEIPA pairs perfectly with gourmet burgers, spiced Asian cuisine, Thai dishes, sushi, ceviches, tacos, and Mexican food, as well as grilled white meats and dishes with a touch of spice. It also pairs very well with creamy and semi-cured cheeses, as well as desserts featuring tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, or passion fruit, where its aromatic profile intensifies and balances the flavors.

One of the most surprising references in the Dougall’s anniversary series. A beer designed for hop lovers who want to take their aromatic experience a step further.
