Description

Dougall's Invierno 33cl is a seasonal beer of English inspiration, conceived for the cold months and designed for those seeking depth, balance, and a malty profile full of nuances. Despite its high alcohol content, the alcohol is perfectly integrated, allowing for a warm, smooth, and tremendously enjoyable drink. Its notes of biscuit, toffee, nuts, and raisins make it an ideal beer for winter and for accompanying long and serene after-dinner conversations.

Character, Flavor, Aromas:

Invierno displays a warm aroma where toasted malts, toffee, biscuit, and nuts stand out, accompanied by a subtle resinous touch provided by Simcoe and Columbus hops. On the palate, it shows a medium body, pleasant texture, and flavors reminiscent of toasted bread, dark caramel, raisins, and a natural spicy note. The finish, dry and moderately bitter, balances the malty sweetness and leaves an elegant aftertaste that invites the next sip.

Culinary Pairing:

This Winter Ale shines especially with winter dishes: meat stews, aromatic casseroles, roasted lamb, cured cheeses, and artisan sausages. Its malty and slightly sweet profile harmonizes with traditional desserts such as puddings, spiced cakes, apple pie, or chocolate with nuts. It is also a great choice to accompany a quiet evening by the fire.

A seasonal beer that captures the essence of winter with character, balance, and a classic charm that never goes out of style.
