Characteristics:

Style: Old Ale

Alcohol by Volume: 7.3% ABV

Serving Temperature: 11 ºC

Color (EBC): Very dark, approximately 60–80 EBC

Bitterness (IBU): Not specified (low–medium bitterness, focused on balance)

Character, Flavor, and Aromas:

On the nose, it unfolds a deep complexity with clear notes of dried fruits, figs, and plums, accompanied by dark chocolate, toasted caramel, and hints of coffee and dark malt.

On the palate, it is rich, silky, and full-bodied. The malty sweetness is reminiscent of a liquid Christmas cake, with layers of ripe fruit, cocoa, toffee, and intense toasted notes. A long, warm, and elegant finish, with impeccable alcohol integration and great persistence.

Food Pairing:

Ideal for accompanying chocolate desserts, spiced cakes, puddings, blue cheeses, or intense aged cheeses. It also works wonderfully as an after-dinner drink or to be enjoyed on its own as a dessert substitute.

If you appreciate complex, historic, and award-winning beers, Moor Old Freddy Walker is an essential choice. Add it to your cart and enjoy a cult Old Ale that proves why classics never go out of style.
