Crazy for hops

The Hop Heads collection is for those who have moved beyond standard IPAs and are looking for something more: beers with epic amounts of hops, pronounced bitterness, explosive aromas, and generous ABV levels that do not go unnoticed. Here you will find the most intense offerings in our catalog, where craft brewers compete to extract the maximum from hops in all their facets (resinous, citrusy, tropical, herbal, spicy).

It includes styles such as NEIPA (the New England hazies, juicy and velvety), Double IPA and Triple IPA (with ABVs from 8% to 12%), Hazy IPA (cloudy and fruity), Belgian IPA (a Belgian-American hybrid), Imperial IPA (the most loaded West Coast style), Black IPA (dark with resinous hops), DDH IPA (double dry-hopped for an aromatic explosion), and Rye IPA (with rye malt to add spice). Each sub-style has its own personality, but they all share one characteristic: the hop is the absolute protagonist.

In the glass, they range from opaque golden-orange to impenetrable black, with creamy heads and good retention. On the nose, they are explosive: mango, passion fruit, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, pine, resin, fresh grass, and, in some, plum or red berries. On the palate, they have medium to full body, pronounced bitterness (50-100+ IBU), well-integrated malty sweetness, lively carbonation, evident alcoholic warmth, and a long, persistent finish.

These are beers to be enjoyed slowly, in a tulip glass to concentrate the aromas, and ideally fresh (hazies degrade quickly). They pair with spiced cuisine (curry, Tex-Mex, Thai, Indian), glazed ribs, burgers with creamy cheeses, spicy food, or blue cheeses. They are served between 7°C and 10°C. A collection for the most committed hop fans in the craft beer world.
