The Most Common in Bars collection gathers well-crafted versions of the classic styles we have always ordered at any bar: Pilsner, Helles Lager, and Vienna Lager. This is the category for familiar, balanced, and timeless beers, but brewed with the attention and quality they deserve. If you are bored with industrial beers but are not looking for major experiments, this is your collection: a comfort zone done right.
The three families included share the same principle: lager fermentation (at low temperatures, with prolonged cold maturation), which provides a very characteristic cleanliness and elegance. The Pilsner is the mother of modern pale beers, born in 1842 in Plzeň and exported all over the world. The Bavarian Helles Lager is the Munich response: maltier, less bitter, perfect for long sessions. The Vienna Lager, Austrian in origin and Mexican in its survival, brings an amber touch and subtle toasted nuances.
In the glass, they show colors ranging from straw yellow to coppery amber, with white or cream-colored, creamy, and highly persistent foam. The nose reveals notes of fresh bread, light honey, sweet cereal, fresh grass, and a very elegant floral background from the noble European hops. On the palate, these are medium-bodied beers with well-integrated malt sweetness, lively carbonation, a present but pleasant bitterness (15-45 IBU depending on the style), and a dry, very clean finish that invites another glass.
They are extraordinarily gastronomic and versatile: they pair with practically everything, from tapas and cured meats to fish, chicken, salads, pizzas, burgers, fajitas, grilled dishes, international cuisine, or mild cheeses. They should be served between 5 °C and 8 °C in a pint glass, krug, or pilsner glass. The perfect option when you want a safe, easy, and very well-made beer.
