Description

The Dougall’s 10/20 Prysma NEIPA 44cl is a special edition craft beer created to celebrate Dougall’s 20th anniversary in collaboration with Espiga. Intense and highly aromatic, it is part of the 20th Anniversary commemorative series, specifically reference number 10 in the collection.

With 6.4% alcohol, this NEIPA stands out for its juicy and expressive profile, where stone fruits and tropical notes dominate from the very first moment. Its combination of Extra Pale barley malt, oats, and malted wheat provides a silky and enveloping texture, perfect for enhancing the intensity of the selected hops.

Characteristics:

Style: NEIPA

Alcohol by Volume: 6.4% ABV.

Hops: Prysma Dolcita, Bru-1, Wai-iti, and Columbus.

Serving Temperature: It is recommended to serve between 6 and 8 ºC to fully enjoy its aromatic character and creamy texture.

Color (EBC): Between 10 and 16 EBC, with the hazy golden color typical of the NEIPA style.

Bitterness (IBU): Approximately 35 IBU, with a smooth and perfectly integrated bitterness.

Character, Flavor, Aromas:

On the nose, it offers an intense aromatic load with notes of peach, apricot, and ripe tropical fruit, accompanied by nuances of white flowers and a sweet background reminiscent of fruit candy. On the palate, it is a juicy, silky, and enveloping beer, with a medium body and a very smooth texture thanks to the oats and wheat. The finish is long, fruity, and delicately sweet, with a balanced bitterness that accompanies without dominating.

Food Pairing:

The Dougall’s 10/20 Prysma NEIPA pairs especially well with gourmet burgers, fried chicken, Mexican food like tacos or quesadillas, spiced Asian cuisine, sushi, and Thai dishes. It also harmonizes with semi-cured and creamy cheeses, fruit salads, and desserts made with tropical fruits such as mango or passion fruit, where its fruity profile enhances and balances the flavors of the dish.

A collaborative beer that perfectly represents the current Hazy IPA style: juicy, silky, and loaded with tropical fruit, ideal to enjoy unhurriedly and with all the senses.
