Toast

The Toasted collection brings together beers in which toasted malt is the true protagonist. Here, hops step out of the spotlight and allow notes of bread, biscuit, caramel, toffee, nuts, and mild roastiness to unfold without competition. These are medium-bodied, balanced, deeply gastronomic, and very comforting beers, ideal for cool weather, long after-dinner conversations, or moments when you are looking for full flavor without intensity.

It includes styles such as Bitter (the quintessential English pub beer), Amber Ale and Red Ale (with caramel and coppery nuances), Brown Ale (deeper, with notes of soft chocolate and nuts), Märzen / Oktoberfest (the toasted lager of the Bavarian festival), Dunkel (the classic dark lager of Munich), and Bock (the stronger, maltier German lager). Two great schools coexist here, the English-American ale and the German lager, united by the prominence of the malt.

In the glass, they display colors ranging from golden amber to deep copper brown, with creamy cream-colored or beige heads. On the nose, aromas of toasted bread, sponge cake, caramel, toffee, nuts (hazelnut, walnut), soft chocolate, honey, and a very elegant herbal or earthy background of European hops appear. On the palate, they are balanced beers, with medium to full body, integrated malty sweetness, moderate carbonation, low or medium bitterness, and a comforting finish with toasted persistence.

They are extraordinarily gastronomic: they pair with roasted meats, burgers, ribs, stews, casseroles, German sausages, pizzas with dark sauces, pasta, and semi-cured or cured cheeses. They are served between 7 °C and 12 °C depending on the style, in a nonic pint, tulip glass, or German pokal. An essential collection if you are looking for beers with body and genuine flavor without resorting to dominant hops or the intensity of the darkest toasted beers.
